Why We Keep Cancelling On Ourselves — And How Everything When We Stop
You tell yourself you’re going to do it. You book the class.
You even get a little excited — imagining how good it’ll feel afterwards.
But then the day rolls around.
You start thinking, “I’m too busy,” “it’s too cold,” “I’ll start fresh on Monday,” or simply, “I can’t be bothered.” You may worry you’re not fit enough, not flexible enough, that you’ll stand out in the worst way. Or maybe it’s the swirl of what ifs —
What if I can’t do the moves? What if everyone else is a pro and I’m the awkward beginner? What if they judge me?
So you cancel.
In that moment, you feel relief. Like you’ve just protected yourself from something scary or too hard.
But later, that regret sneaks in. You’re disappointed, frustrated with yourself — but it’s too late to show up now anyway.
So you promise yourself you’ll book again next week. And the cycle continues.
Think back to all those times you cancelled once… which made it easier to cancel the second time… and the third… until suddenly, you just stopped going altogether.

What our Members have to say...
That gym membership you kept paying for week after week without showing up, because cancelling it would mean admitting you’d failed yourself — yet again.
But when you finally decide to hold yourself accountable, everything changes.
You push past every excuse, every insecurity, and simply show up.
And the moment you walk out of that class — legs wobbly, already knowing you’ll have that “you did it” soreness the next day — you feel proud. Happy. Like you’ve truly done something just for yourself.
Because it’s never just about the workout. It’s about keeping a promise to yourself. Proving you can show up even with all your doubts.
But know this: it doesn’t suddenly become easy. You’ll still have to push yourself to show up, time and time again, especially when the “just let me cancel” voice creeps back in.
That’s what perseverance looks like — choosing your long-term health over your momentary comfort, over and over again.
And here’s something so important:
We all have insecurities. Whether it’s worrying about flexibility, messing up, or being the slowest in the room. But I’m here to tell you, you will never ever be judged. Because every instructor here genuinely cares. About your health. About your mental wellbeing. About guiding you, not grading you.
And the reason I know exactly how you’re feeling is because that’s how I felt.
And I’d bet it’s how almost every person in that room once felt — or still feels.
Seeing our members consistently show up for themselves, even when it’s 5 degrees at 6 in the morning, is the greatest proof of all.
So let this be your sign:
It’s time to stop waiting, stop putting it off, and start building a life where you show up for you.
Because your future self is counting on it.
